UNIT 1. Lesson 1 - GETTING REACQUAINTED

 1) How do people greet around the word?

Mexico: Mexicans, like other Latin Americans, are very cordial and cheerful. They use “¿Que onda?” “Qué pedo wey” “Órale, ¿cómo anda?” “¿Qué hay carnal”

France: To say hello, people say "Bonjour". Among young people or students, "Salut" is used more often. The “faire la bise” is also used as a handshake.

2) How do you greet in your country?

In my country the greetings depend on the city where you are, although it is normal to greet each other with the typical "Hey, hola" "Que más, ¿cómo estás?, "¿Todo bien?". Also with a handshake or hugs We are very affective and demonstrative.

There are small variations in terms of the expressions used in each city, for example in Barranquilla it is customary to greet with "Hey mani que", "Habla cachón", in Bogotá they use "Hola su merce'", in Medellín they use "Quibo mijo" "¿Que más parcero? And so on in different ways in each city.
